Continuity equation 113-GP-9

The continuity equation plays a particularly important role in echocardiography: unknown stenoses can be indirectly inferred using the simplified Bernoulli equation if the flows over the corresponding structures are known (and vice versa). What is particularly interesting is the possibility of non-invasively calculating cardiac output together with the time-velocity index (VTI).
