Neuromuscular monitoring - relaxometry / 199-MS-PR-3

Art.Nr.: 199-MS-PR-3

Neuromuscular monitoring means that the degree of (drug-induced & reversible) muscle paralysis can be reliably assessed clinically at the bedside. It is extremely important to ensure sufficient stages of anesthesia during relaxation in order to avoid paralysis in the conscious state. The most common stimulation sites with corresponding response muscles are the ulnaris, orbicularis oculi and tibialis posterior nerves. Stimulation mode and settings are shown here.
