This diagram shows the important transgastric and mid-esophageal sections(views) in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Special attention is paid to, aortic valve pressures, the aorta, vena cava inferior & pleural effsusions, . Furthermore, the sections are important for the evaluation of right ventricular function.
